As a student of Art and Design between 1977 and 1980, the early years were divided between ceramics, landscape painting and life drawing . A long interest in drawing and the natural world have been the perfect background for my work.

In the the late 1990's I moved to North West Scotland where I now live and work.
Walking in the hills of Wester Ross and sailing the coastal waters between the Isle of Skye and the mainland have provided me with the material and inspiration for many of my paintings which form the centre piece of many private collections.
